We are part of the design team for a Global War on Terrorism Memorial On the National Mall in Washington DC. The GWOT Memorial site is located on a four acre site immediately adjacent to the north side of the Lincoln Memorial and immediately west of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I am responsible for the workshop process working with Gold Star families, former military and non-uniformed services to identify issues and opportunities and solicit design ideas for a Memorial to a conflict with no end date.
